Starlink launches satellite internet services in Equatorial Guinea
SpaceX’s satellite internet unit, Starlink, has launched high-speed broadband services in Equatorial Guinea, according to a posting on the company’s official X account. Interactive coverage maps published by SpaceX now reflect active service across the Central African country. The commercial roll-out follows provisional authorisation granted by Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue on 29 July, allowing national regulators to evaluate the service before finalising long-term market rules.
