South Liberation Operations Room claims capture of 6 pro-Haftar fighters

The South Liberation Operations Room (SLOR) announced that it had carried out what it described as a “special operation” in the Al-Zaetriya Checkpoint – Al-Shati area, which it said lies within territory controlled by Khalifa Haftar’s forces.

In a statement, SLOR said its First Reconnaissance Company captured six fighters during the operation and seized two armed vehicles, adding that none of its personnel were injured.

It also called on civilians not to cooperate or engage with Haftar’s forces, urging members of those forces to abandon their positions, return to their homes, or join its ranks.

It further stated that its military operations would continue in several areas and warned that it would target, according to its statement, anyone providing support or assistance to those formations. It also renewed its appeal to tribal leaders to withdraw their sons from the fighting and prioritize what it described as the national interest.
