Senegal drafts cyber law to protect essential services
Senegal is taking steps to reinforce the protection of its digital infrastructure following a series of cyber incidents that exposed vulnerabilities within public institutions, Wearetech reported. On 13 August, the ICT ministry presented a new bill on critical information infrastructure protection and digital security to the National Assembly. A joint parliamentary committee, comprising the Laws Committee and the Culture and Communication Committee, reviewed the proposed text.
