Saudi Arabia, Senegal meet in San Antonio ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup

SAN ANTONIO — Two World Cup-bound national teams will take the field tonight as Saudi Arabia faces Senegal in one of the final exhibition matches before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. in San Antonio at Toyota Field and comes just two days before the tournament begins Thursday.

Saudi Arabia enters the contest following a 3-0 victory over Puerto Rico and will look to carry that momentum into World Cup play. Senegal is also using the match as a final opportunity to prepare for the world’s largest soccer tournament.

A limited number of tickets remain available, giving local fans a chance to see international talent ahead of the World Cup.

The match also highlights San Antonio’s growing presence on the international soccer stage as the city hosts one of the final World Cup tune-up matches before the tournament shifts to host cities across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Texas host cities for the tournament include Dallas and Houston.
