“A lot of people right now are affected in Colombia, and even though probably the Government is helping as well, there’s so many Colombians here in the United States,” said Alejandra Leon, owner of Salvaje Social Club. “And so if we donate a little energy or products as well, or even sharing the message, we can make a huge difference in helping those that are over there right now going through the earthquake.”

For Leon, donating is a big part of Salvaje’s identity, being known for donating year-round to animal conservation. The earthquake hits home for Leon, being originally from Cali, Colombia, and having family members, including her father, still living there.
