Saipem has been awarded a new offshore contract in Angola worth approximately US$350 million.
The contract has been assigned by Azule Energy Angola, an incorporated joint venture owned by Eni and BP, and relates to the West Hub Tails project, part of the wider Agogo Integrated West Hub Development.
The project site is located 180 kilometres offshore Angola at water depths of up to 1,750 metres.
Saipem’s scope of work will cover the engineering, fabrication, transportation and installation of subsea infrastructures, including approximately 62 kilometres of flowlines, risers and umbilicals.
