O’Fallon, Mo. police searching for suspect who abandoned 4 guinea pigs in 95-degree heat

O’FALLON, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The O’Fallon, Missouri, Police Department is asking for help finding the person who dumped four guinea pigs in exercise balls on the side of a road.

The guinea pigs were found by a Good Samaritan on the side of Old Highway N near Hawk Ridge Trail on Aug. 9. Three of the four guinea pigs died, and the other was taken to the vet.

When the guinea pigs were dumped, temperatures exceeded 95 degrees.
