North West B and SACD booked their places in the semi-finals of the SA Hockey IPT B Section women’s tournament at The Hockey Farm in eMalahleni on Wednesday, 2 September 2026.
North West B completed a perfect group campaign with a 3–1 victory over SACD in the headline encounter of the day. Entering the contest with both sides holding unbeaten records, Mathapelo Pitso opened the scoring for SACD in the 14th minute.
Pitso’s strike was the first goal conceded by North West B in the tournament and gave the Country Districts side a 1–0 advantage at half-time.
North West B responded emphatically after the interval, with Erika Neuhoff levelling matters in the 32nd minute before Chanel Genis put them ahead two minutes later.

Marika Neethling sealed the victory in the final minute, bringing their tally to 10 goals scored and just one conceded in the group stage.
Statistically, North West B cemented their position at the top of the standings with 9 points from three matches played, boasting a dominant +9 goal difference, and SACD finished as runners-up in the log with 6 points and a +2 goal difference, having recorded two wins and a single defeat.

North West B’s offensive potency was underlined by their tournament-topping totals of 10 goals, comprising 7 field goals and 3 penalty corners. SACD followed with 5 total goals scored across their three fixtures.
On the individual goal-scoring leaderboard, Erika Neuhoff and Marika Neethling joined teammate Jade Kelly at the top with 2 goals each for North West B. Mathapelo Pitso joined Chenelle Roux, Lisa February, and Rethabile Mothupi on the list of goal scorers for SACD.


Hosts Mpumalanga claimed their first victory of the tournament with a 2–0 win against KZN Mynahs.
After a goalless opening quarter, Monique Liebenberg opened the scoring in the 27th minute before Bianca Kruger doubled the lead in the 39th minute. The victory secured third place for Mpumalanga with three points, while KZN Mynahs finished fourth.
