Leicesterford City have poured cold water over claims that they have signed former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Sabelo Radebe.
The Motsepe Foundation Championship club was assessing the 26-year-old recently, as reported by Soccer Laduma last month.

Leicesterford head coach Stanford Nkoane has clarified that Radebe did not sign with them and has already left.
“No, we haven’t signed him,” says Nkoane. “He’s no longer training with us. It’s not true we signed him. There are many lies that I see on social media, but I just keep quiet because people are doing their business.”
Nkoane added that the reason Radebe did not get a deal was because the club has many options in midfield.
“I’m crowded in the central (midfield) area. That’s the reason.”
Radebe spent the second half of last season at the North West side Lerumo Lions, but the club opted against renewing his contract.

Meanwhile, Nkoane added that Leicesterford, who finished 12th last term, is preparing well for the new campaign. “So far so good,” he concluded.
Leicesterford will kick off their 2026/27 season with a home clash against Orbit College at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, 22 August.
