Nine migrants’ bodies recovered after boat sinks off Tajoura coast
The Libyan Red Crescent’s Tripoli branch recovered the bodies of nine migrants after their boat sank off the coast of Tajoura.
The team was alerted by the local contact center on Sunday and immediately headed to the scene, recovering the bodies over two days.
Search and recovery efforts remain ongoing, in coordination with the relevant authorities, as teams continue looking for other possible victims.
