Niger youths purchase NDC form for Guregi

The Niger State Concerned Youths has purchased the governorship expression of interest form of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)  H.E. Alhaji Yahya Muhammad Guregi.

The group said the move reflects strong confidence in Guregi’s leadership qualities, political experience and commitment to the development of Niger State.

Speaking in a statement on Tuesday, the youths leader, Hon. Albashir Aliyu Gidan Kwano, said the decision was not merely political participation, but a collective expression of aspiration for purposeful leadership.

He said the action underscores a growing demand among youths and stakeholders for a leadership that can address key challenges facing the state, including economic development, education, youth empowerment, infrastructure and security.

According to him, the increasing support for Guregi across different communities shows that his aspiration has become a “people-driven project anchored on sincerity, competence and genuine service”.

The group stressed that transformational governance is urgently needed to reposition the state for growth and inclusiveness.

They called on party members, traditional rulers, women groups, students, artisans and other citizens to rally behind the movement for a united and prosperous Niger State.

H.E. Alhaji Yahya Muhammad Guregi was described as the central figure around whom the emerging political support is building.

“This is a defining moment in the political history of Niger State. The movement has begun, and together we can build a brighter future,” the statement added.
