Nashville business behind FIFA World Cup towels

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — If you’ve watched any of the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches, you might have noticed the towels the players are using on the sideline.

That gear is thanks to the Nashville-based merchandise company SomethingInked.

SomethingInked VP of sales Mike Zagurski showed FOX17 News’ Johnny Maffei around their warehouse as the towels were being packed up and shipped to host cities.

Zagurski tells Maffei he’s proud his SomethingInked team is on the global stage:

“I think it’s certainly a feather in the cap. I think if you look at SomethingInked, it gets been around quite a while. And having the ability to do something like this, they’re calling it the largest sporting event in North American history. So to be a part of it’s great, seeing your name in a tag or on the bottom of the poster, I think it’s pretty special.”

Relationships are key to land a deal like this, Zagurski adds.
