Moyne Elaine Riggs, 77, of Greenbrier, Tenn., passed away on Aug. 20, 2026. She was born on Sept. 30, 1948, in Terre Haute to the late Herbert and Norma Galbraith.

She was a graduate of Staunton High School, and she furthered her education at Ivy Tech. On Nov. 27, 1966, she wed Glenn Riggs, Jr., and together they built a beautiful life as they raised their two daughters.

Moyne was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother whose family was her greatest pride and joy. She was a talented cook and an avid reader, and throughout her life she planted and nurtured beautiful flower beds. As a lifelong Christian, Moyne grew up in Cloverland Gospel Church and later raised her daughters in Brazil Bible Fellowship Church. At the time of her passing, she was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church in McKenzie, Tenn. Moyne leaves an enduring legacy for her family and friends—one of unwavering faith, remarkable strength and a grace and pleasant humor that carried her through every physical trial.

Moyne is survived by her husband, Glenn; daughters Amy (Bob) Brown and Julie (John) Alford; three grandchildren, Ryan Brown, Luke (Cielo) Brown and Grace Ann Alford; great-grandchild Ava Elaine Brown; and a brother, Ron (Debbie) Galbraith.

A graveside service with family will be held at Clearview Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2026. Moore Funeral Home is entrusted with her arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.moorefuneralhomes.com.
