Rabat – From France and Argentina to Morocco, AI-generated football anthems have become one of the unexpected online trends of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, flooding TikTok, Instagram Reels, and fan pages across social media.
The formula is simple: short hooks, fast rhythms, and repeated players’ names transformed into catchy chants designed to do numbers in the algorithm age.
“Bono! Hakimi! Issa Diop!”

Morocco’s own version has quickly become one of the trend’s biggest viral hits. Originally posted in April by a Moroccan TikTok fanpage, the AI-generated Atlas Lions anthem has already surpassed one million views on the platform. The sound has also been used in more than 65.000 posts, appearing in fan edits of players and celebration videos.
The trend first gained momentum earlier this year after the viral spread of “Imbattables,” an AI-generated anthem dedicated to the French national team. Since then, similar songs have appeared for nearly every major World Cup nation, with supporters creating unofficial digital anthems celebrating their squads ahead of matches.
The phenomenon has grown large enough to attract the attention of music platforms themselves. According to Deezer – a major streaming platform – over 70% of unofficial 2026 FIFA World Cup anthems are tagged as AI on their platform ahead of the tournament.
For many supporters, however, the appeal is less about technology and more about atmosphere. In a tournament heavily dominated by online culture and fan-created content, AI football anthems are rapidly becoming part of the World Cup experience itself.
Whether building hype before kickoff or celebrating stars, supporters all around the world are turning player names into viral choruses, and Morocco is no exception.
