Morocco’s Chirihan Chergui to represent Kingdom at Miss World 2026 grand final in Vietnam

Morocco will be represented by Chirihan Chergui at the Miss World 2026 grand final, scheduled for Saturday, September 5, in Nha Trang, Vietnam, where 111 contestants are taking part in the 73rd edition of the international pageant.

Originally from Berkane, Chergui is a technology entrepreneur based in France who works in artificial intelligence. She is the founder of CompanionCare, a startup developing data and AI-based tools focused on workplace wellbeing and working conditions.

She is also an ambassador for SOS Children’s Villages Morocco, supporting young people transitioning from care into education, employment and independent living. Fluent in Arabic, French and English and trained in ballet, she has used her Miss World participation to highlight Moroccan culture and craftsmanship.

During the competition in Vietnam, Chergui has showcased several elements of Moroccan heritage.

The Miss World 2026 grand final will take place at Nha Trang’s April 2 Square on September 5, when Thailand’s reigning Miss World, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, is expected to crown her successor.
