Morocco to face Cameroon in WAFCON 2026 semi final

After securing their spot in the semi-finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON 2026), which they are proudly hosting, Morocco’s women’s national team is set to face off against Cameroon. This highly anticipated match will take place on Wednesday, August 12, at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, kicking off at 9:00 p.m. local time. As of last night, the Atlas Lionesses confirmed their opponents, as Cameroon clinched their semi-final berth with a narrow 1-0 win against Nigeria.

Morocco secured their own qualification after a thrilling 2-1 victory over South Africa at the same venue, a win that also guarantees their participation in the Women’s World Cup, slated for Brazil in 2027.
