McDonald’s unveils FIFA World Cup 26 meals with collectible cups and Squishmallows

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — McDonald’s is marking the FIFA World Cup 26 with a slate of limited-time offerings that include collectible drink cups and a World Cup-themed Happy Meal featuring Squishmallows plush toys.

With each limited-time meal, customers can get one of nine collectible cups featuring soccer figures Christian Pulisic, David Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaucho, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, Lamine Yamal, Alphonso Davies and Santiago Gimenez.

McDonald’s “certified legend, Grimace,” is also one of the collectable cups.

For younger fans, McDonald’s is rolling out the FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal with the Squishmallows Squad.

Each Happy Meal order comes with one of 23 Squishmallows plushies, including the official mascots for FIFA World Cup 26 representing the three host countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

McDonald’s said the Squishmallows are dressed in soccer-inspired jerseys with McDonald’s graphics.

Each Squishmallows Happy Meal will come in special packaging and include a scannable code that unlocks an exclusive digital game at www.happymeal.com.

In the U.S., McDonald’s said a portion from every FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal purchased will help support Ronald McDonald House families.
