Kaizer Chiefs forward Khanyisa Mayo celebrated his 28th birthday in truly wholesome fashion with his family.

The story

Khanyisa Mayo marked his 28th birthday in heartwarming fashion, with his young family making sure the occasion was one to remember.

The Amakhosi attacker was treated to a special surprise by his significant other, Ababalwe Scout and toddler daughter, offering fans a glimpse of the more personal side of the footballer away from the pressures of the pitch.

Mayo’s birthday celebrations were filled with family warmth as his family came together to mark his special day with a plethora of gifts and a mini birthday cake, with lit candles displaying the number “28”.

As he enters his 28th year, the Chiefs forward will be hoping to enjoy plenty more memorable moments — both on the pitch in the famous Gold and Black after signing a permanent deal with Amakhosi from  Algerian giants CR Belouizdad, following his loan spell with the Glamour Boys last season.
