Mali’s government does not rule out U.S. military intervention

DAKAR, Senegal — Mali’s government on Thursday acknowledged a report indicating that the Trump administration is weighing military action against Islamist militants in the West African country, saying any nation that works with Mali “must respect” its sovereignty.
