Mali’s Ministry of Health and Social Development has launched a new official website as part of its efforts to strengthen digital public services, improve transparency and enhance communication with citizens and stakeholders.
The new online platform, serves as the ministry’s official source of information on its activities, programmes, projects, reforms and public health initiatives. The ministry said the website is designed to provide reliable and up-to-date information for citizens, healthcare professionals, development partners, the media and the wider public.
Built with a responsive design, the platform is accessible on computers, tablets and smartphones, enabling users to access information quickly from any location. The ministry said the website is intended to make official health information more readily available while improving engagement with the public.
In addition to publishing news and institutional updates, the portal includes geolocation services that allow users to locate the ministry’s administrative offices, hospitals and pharmaceutical facilities across the country, making it easier for citizens to identify and access healthcare services.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development said the launch of the website forms part of its broader digital transformation agenda aimed at increasing transparency, strengthening institutional communication and improving the visibility of Mali’s health and social development programmes at both the national and international levels. Citizens and partners have been encouraged to visit the platform regularly for official updates and information on the ministry’s activities.
