LTA denies corruption allegations linked to international gateway monitoring management

The Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) has denied allegations of corruption surrounding revenue from the International Gateway Monitoring System (IGS). The accusations arose after the suspension of the Telecommunications International Alliance (TIA) concession in October 2025. The LTA then assumed temporary management of the system, generating significant revenue while demonstrating its capacity to run operations locally.
