Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, met on Saturday with the French President’s Special Envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, to discuss current developments in the country and opportunities to advance the political process towards greater consensus and stability.
During their meeting at the Libyan Embassy in Paris, the two sides discussed a range of ideas and approaches for addressing the challenges of the next phase, aiming to strengthen understanding among the various Libyan parties and preserve the unity of national institutions.
Al-Lafi stressed the importance of continuing consultations with international partners supporting the stability of Libya, praising the role played by France in keeping pace with the ongoing political efforts.
