Fahmi Al-Jahmi, Chairman of the Libyan Business Council (LBC) in the Eastern Region, participated in the “Moroccan-Libyan Business Forum” organized by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) last Wednesday (17 June) in the city of Casablanca.
The LBC said the participation comes within the efforts to strengthen the bonds of economic cooperation between the two countries.
During his speech and participation in the forum sessions, Al-Jahmi focused on the necessity of overcoming the obstacles facing the private sector, calling urgently for facilitating the procedures for granting entry visas to Libyan business leaders, in a way that contributes to the movement of competencies and businessmen and facilitates the conclusion of partnerships.
The discussion also deliberated ways and mechanisms for developing trade and investment cooperation, stressing the importance of benefiting from the Moroccan experience, stressing that Morocco is today considered one of the rising and influential economic powers on the African continent, which makes it an ideal strategic partner for the Libyan economy in the next stage.
