Libyan Health Minister Mohammed Al-Ghouj and his Italian counterpart met in Rome to discuss expanding healthcare cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions focused on training and developing medical professionals, advancing collaboration in bone marrow transplantation, and drawing on Italian expertise to enhance healthcare services in Libya.
The two sides also reviewed ways to implement existing bilateral agreements and expand partnerships between healthcare institutions, reaffirming their commitment to continued coordination and concrete follow-up measures to support the development of Libya’s healthcare sector.
