Libya’s Ministries of Higher Education and Health have agreed to establish joint task forces to coordinate efforts aimed at developing the country’s medical education system and implementing key reforms.
The agreement followed a meeting between Higher Education Minister Mohammed Al-Dbeib and Health Minister Mohammed Al-Ghouj, who discussed closer cooperation to improve medical education and strengthen the healthcare sector.
The initiative will focus on upgrading training programs, enhancing the skills of medical and allied health professionals, and supporting teaching hospitals to help produce qualified graduates capable of meeting the sector’s workforce needs.
