Libya’s Minister of Health, Mohammed Al-Ghouj, discussed with Chinese Ambassador to Libya, the potential use of Chinese surgical robots and advanced medical technologies to support the modernization of the country’s healthcare sector.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in digital transformation, developing telemedicine services, and introducing advanced medical technologies, including surgical robots, covering training programs, capacity building for medical and technical staff, and the transfer of Chinese expertise and experience.
Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding Libya-China health cooperation to support the modernization of the healthcare system, improve the delivery of medical services, and enhance the efficiency of healthcare in line with international developments.
