Libya end 2027 FIBA World Cup qualifying window winless
Libya’s national basketball team finished its 2027 FIBA World Cup qualifying window without a victory after losing 98-66 to Cape Verde in its final game in Douala, Cameroon.
The defeat followed earlier losses to South Sudan on July 2 and hosts Cameroon, marking three consecutive defeats under newly appointed Egyptian head coach Ahmed Marei.
Libya’s campaign in the World Cup qualifying window concluded with three losses from three matches.
