Libya, Chad discuss closer cooperation

Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah has held talks with a delegation from Chad’s Senate, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation.

During the meeting, Dbeibah received a message from the president of the Chadian Senate outlining proposals to deepen relations between the two countries.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to closer collaboration across a range of sectors. Discussions covered the status of the Chadian community in Libya, support for Chadian students, and efforts to improve land transport and trade.

They also highlighted the importance of launching direct flights between the two countries to boost economic and social links.
