Libya’s Education Ministry has announced a 77.26% overall pass rate in the 2025-26 secondary school examinations.
A total of 134,267 students from the science, arts and religious education streams sat the exams. Of those, 103,730 passed, while 30,537 were referred to the second round.
The science stream recorded a pass rate of about 79%, compared with 66.60% for the arts stream and 57.58% for religious secondary education.
The results were presented by National Examinations Centre director Ahmed Masoud during an official ceremony to approve the results.
