A Liberian woman who allegedly fled to Ghana after a fatal hit-and-run incident in September 2025 has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault, and criminal mischief following her return to Monrovia.
According to the Liberia National Police in a post shared on X on August 28, 2026, the suspect, identified as Olyne T Alade, is reported to have pursued two men riding on a motorcycle before allegedly ramming into them with her vehicle.

Authorities allege that Alade fled to Ghana after a hit-and-run incident in September 2025 in which she pursued two men riding a motorcycle and struck them with her vehicle.
One of the victims died on the spot, while the second sustained severe injuries, including multiple fractures.
The post accompanied with picture of the said lady read: “A Liberian woman who allegedly fled to Ghana after a fatal road rage incident in September 2025 has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault and criminal mischief following her return to Monrovia.”
“The suspect, Olyne T. Alade, is reported to have pursued two men who were riding on a motorcycle before allegedly hitting them with her vehicle. The incident resulted in the instant death of one of the victims, while the other sustained severe injuries, including multiple fractures,” the post added.
