The Lesotho Defence Force Ladies have been drawn in Group A for the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League | COSAFA Qualifiers, set to be hosted in Botswana from 20 to 29 August 2026.
As the Women Super League champions, LDF will face a competitive lineup in Group A, including hosts Gaborone United FC (Botswana), ZESCO Ndola Girls FC (Zambia), and Herentals Queens FC (Zimbabwe).
The team will battle for the single COSAFA slot to the CAF Women’s Champions League finals.
Group B features Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies (South Africa), Nsingizini Hotspurs (Eswatini), Costa do Sol (Mozambique), and Silver Strikers (Malawi).
The COSAFA Qualifiers serve as the zonal pathway to the continental finals. With the tournament just weeks away, focus now turns to preparations as LDF Ladies aim to make history for Lesotho on the regional stage.
