Lesotho govt holds workshop to develop national AI and data centre strategies

Lesotho’s ICT ministry and UN Lesotho are hosting a five-day workshop in Maseru until 21 August to develop the country’s National AI Strategy and Data Centre Blueprint. The event gathers decision-makers to devise a roadmap for responsible artificial intelligence adoption and secure, sustainable digital infrastructure. Deputy prime minister Justice Nthomeng Majara said Lesotho must approach its AI strategy and data centre blueprint with vigilance and strategic foresight.
