King Mohammed VI condemns Iranian attacks on Jordan, reaffirms Morocco’s full solidarity

King Mohammed VI has strongly condemned Iran’s repeated missile attacks on Jordan, expressing Morocco’s «full solidarity» with the Hashemite Kingdom and its support for measures taken to protect the country’s security and stability.

In a message to King Abdullah II, the Moroccan monarch said he had followed with «great concern and indignation» reports of Iranian missile attacks targeting Jordan, describing them as a continuation of Iran’s «hostile attitude» toward the country and Arab Gulf states.

King Mohammed VI expressed his «strong condemnation» and «firm rejection of this unjustified criminal aggression», which he said was aimed at undermining Jordan’s stability and the security of its people.

The King reiterated Morocco’s «unwavering and unconditional support» for all measures taken by Jordanian authorities, under King Abdullah II, to defend the country and its citizens, stressing that «Jordan’s security is inseparable from Morocco’s security».

He also expressed confidence that the Jordanian people would overcome the consequences of the attacks through their determination and solidarity.
