Kenyan coach lands another job in South Sudan five months after leaving Jamus

Immediate former Nairobi United head coach ,Godfrey ‘Solo’ Oduor, has returned to South Sudan after being unveiled as the new assistant coach of reigning Premier League champions El Merreikh Bentiu on a one-year long contract.

The Bentiu-based club confirmed the appointment through its official social media platforms, welcoming the experienced Kenyan tactician to its technical bench ahead of the new season.

“The Pride of Bentiu welcomes our new Assistant Coach, Godfrey Oduor, all the way from Kenya.Coach Godfrey joins the technical team and will serve as Assistant Coach alongside head coach Jean Claude on a one-year contract.

Oduor’s appointment marks a return to familiar territory, with the Kenyan coach heading back to South Sudan just five months after leaving the country.
