Judicial Police transfers 134 foreign female prisoners to illegal immigration detention center for deportation

The Judicial Police has announced the transfer of 134 female prisoners of foreign nationalities from the Women’s Reform and Rehabilitation Institution to the Illegal Immigration Detention Center in Tripoli, to complete their deportation procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The agency explained that the transfer was carried out in coordination between the Reform and Rehabilitation Institution and the Illegal Immigration Detention Center, under the supervision and monitoring of the Attorney Geneal’s Office and the Inspection Office of the Tripoli Advocate General’s Office.

 These measures were taken to complete the prisoners’ files and take the necessary measures regarding them, ensuring compliance with the laws regulating the treatment of undocumented foreigners.

The agency indicated that the handover process took place in accordance with approved legal procedures, considering humanitarian and regulatory controls, and within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the relevant security institutions.
