Jack E. Greenlee, 79 passed away Aug. 16, 2026, at his residence surrounded by family. Jack was born in Terre Haute to the late William and Flora (Barnhardt) Greenlee on Oct. 13, 1946.

When he was 17, Jack joined the United States Air Force where he served for several years. After being honorably discharged he worked numerous jobs until he found his calling with truck driving. He was a truck driver at Metal Industries in Brazil for nearly 35 years. He retired due to health reasons. Jack loved to sit in the backyard, underneath his shade tree and watch the corn grow. He enjoyed gardening and each year spent many hours canning with Sharon. Jack loved to spend time with his family. His laugh was contagious and always put a smile on others faces. Jack was also a lover of big dogs, especially Saint Bernards.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Kelly Scott (Jim); grandchildren Corbin Long and Brayden Hauck; his significant other, Sharon Swearingen; sisters Jean Hines, Judy Haskell (Darrell) and Jane Fields; as well as special nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 20 from 11-1 at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Doug Parkey will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery with military honors presented.
