inDrive Brings SWAB Back to Morocco, Turning Intercity Trips Into Shared Experiences Rooted in Local Traditions

Rabat – Ride-hailing and ridesharing app inDrive has announced an interactive initiative for their City to City long distance car pooling service in Morocco, SWAB – a digital game designed to promote interaction between passengers during intercity trips.

In a statement on Monday, inDrive said the initiative comes with the support of a physical card game that contributes to “bringing the experience to life” during the drive.

inDrive emphasized that the initiative is linked to its City to City Shared rides, allowing passengers to pay for a seat and go through an intercity journey with other passengers heading in the  same direction.

“Through SWAB, inDrive is adding a social dimension to these shared journeys,” the statement added, highlighting the app’s goal of encouraging riders to use their time on the road to talk and exchange stories.

The initiative is available as a digital and limited-edition card game, covering a series of questions and prompts that passengers can use during a trip.

inDrive sees the initiative as a concept designed to “break the ice” between passengers and make their journey more than just a ride. 

The goal is to also connect passengers by  offering them an “informal way” to start a conversation. Friends sharing the same drive can  also use their time to enjoy SWAB, with a physical card version featuring prompts designed to encourage conversation without any preparation for the trip.

“The service aims to make door-to-door intercity travel more affordable and comfortable, while giving users greater choice over their journey and placing safety at the heart of the travel experience,” the app emphasized,  stressing that the idea extends beyond the practical benefits of the trip and includes  comfort, affordability, safety and fair choice.

For inDrive, the idea is to also make long hours of travel more enjoyable among strangers , as well as students, and groups of  friends planning trips back home from universities or a weekend trip.

“With City to City Shared rides, passengers can benefit from the convenience of a door-to-door journey while sharing the cost of the ride with people heading in the same direction,” the ride-sharing app stated, explaining how a transition between two destinations could entail more than just a trip, but also time to interact and start  diverse conversations.

The ridesharing and ride-hailing service, which operates in over 1,100 cities in 48 countries,  invites SWAB enthusiasts to discover the game through its dedicated platform.
