Igor Shunevich’s Wife Shot an Impala, a Waterbuck, and a Baboon in Zimbabwe
Tatiana Shunevich, wife of the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and currently the chairman of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen, a member of the “Laska” hunting club, went on a hunting trip to Africa this summer and obtained many trophies.

She shared the results of her trip with the website of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen, as “Salidarnasc” noted.
— We lived in a tent camp, where the temperature at night was +13, and during the day +26. We met the sunrise at 7:30 AM, and the sunset at 6:00 PM. At night, a fire constantly burned near the camp, scaring away wild animals, and around us, we heard the cries of elephants, hippos, hyenas, and night birds. Elephants often visited our camp at night!
Every morning we got up at 5:30 AM, left at 7:00 AM, and spent the whole day searching for game until sunset. Daily strenuous hunting in the wild, thorny African savanna is a real challenge!
The Winchester rifle (caliber .375 H&H mag) added “difficulty” to this process; it took me time to get acquainted with it, and I also had to carry it for 10 days without a strap.
Tatiana Shunevich did not specify whether her husband was with her. But she boasted about her trophies:
— During my stay in Zimbabwe, I managed to obtain an impala (African antelope), a waterbuck (water goat), and a baboon. All trophies are males with excellent trophy qualities.
