CAIRO, EGYPT — ibex announced the opening of a new customer experience (CX) delivery center in Cairo, Egypt, targeting a workforce of 1,000 employees within the first nine months of operations beginning October 2026.

The facility, located in the City Stars complex in Nasr City, Cairo, will begin operations in October 2026 and serve ibex clients across HealthTech, technology, retail, e-commerce, fintech, utilities, and logistics.
ibex, which employs more than 36,000 customer experience experts across its global delivery network, designed the Cairo center as a full-scale outsourcing hub serving the company’s client roster in Europe and the Middle East.
“We are excited to expand into Egypt to deliver even greater service options and value for our growing list of industry-leading companies. Egypt is a thriving outsourcing and technology market with a unique combination of a young, multilingual, and highly educated workforce, coupled with a strategic geographic location, growing digital infrastructure, and a stable, pro-business government environment,” said Bob Dechant, chief executive officer of ibex.
Young multilingual workforce anchors ibex’s Egypt strategy
ibex cited Egypt’s strategic geographic position between Europe and the Middle East, growing digital infrastructure, and a stable, pro-business regulatory environment as the primary drivers of the site selection.
ibex also holds the top cybersecurity ranking among business process outsourcing (BPO) providers in SecurityScorecard’s global assessment, with a perfect score of 100, a certification it plans to extend to its Egypt operations.
“We believe that providing a great employee experience is the key to delivering amazing customer experiences,” said Paul Inson, chief people officer of ibex.
ibex will recruit customer service representatives, managers, team leaders, quality analysts, and support staff for the new Cairo center.
The company targets sectors with the highest growth in Egypt and the broader North Africa and Middle East region, including HealthTech, fintech, and e-commerce.
ibex’s existing global delivery network spans the United States, Central America, the Philippines, and Jamaica.
The Cairo expansion marks ibex’s first delivery market in North Africa and broadens its geographic reach for European and Middle Eastern clients seeking multilingual offshore support.
For BPO buyers and contact center operators, ibex’s Egypt entry reflects a pattern of established CX providers targeting frontier delivery markets with multilingual workforces positioned near European and Middle Eastern client bases.
Egypt’s combination of Arabic-English proficiency, government-backed investment incentives, and a growing technology sector positions Cairo as a candidate for additional outsourcing entrants in the years ahead.
