ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The final 2026 World Cup match in Atlanta will be the semifinal Wednesday between Argentina and England.
Not just the next chapter in one of the sport’s most storied rivalries, it promises to be the first — and perhaps only — face off between Lionel Messi and Harry Kane, two of soccer’s best and biggest names.
The levels of hype for the match are high; the ticket prices are even higher.
The lowest price on FIFA’s resale market is $2,300. Some tickets in the lower bowl are listed for more than $100,000. Whether or not they sell at that price is to be determined.
On third party websites, the prices are no cheaper. On StubHub, the cheapest tickets in the upper deck are around $2,800. For lower level seats at the center of the pitch, there are two tickets selling for more than $16,000.
With that match marking the last World Cup game in the city, there are also only two days left to experience the FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park, one of the hottest tickets in town.
Organizers say demand for the final two days has surged, with tickets almost sold out.
“It’s fantastic that we’re so popular, I wish we had more days to do it, we just don’t have more days in the World Cup,” sad one of the Executive Producers of FIFA Fan Festival, Atilla Meijs. “Everybody wants to be here. They want to celebrate this match, they want to celebrate soccer culture, they want to be here with their family or friends, which is great. The downside of it is that we’re a hot ticket so people need to be able to get those tickets somehow and we’re pretty much sold out.”
Organizers say General Admission and General Admission Plus are sold out, but there are still a few VIP tickets available for Tuesday.
General Admission tickets are free and can be transferred, but organizers are urging fans to be cautious about ticket offers online.
