BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Kelsey Kowalski’s love for animals has sparked a unique idea.
The North Tonawanda Girl Scout is showing her support for a Western New York guinea pig rescue — and encouraging others to do the same.
Buffalo Guinea Pig Mafia Rescue helps find forever homes for the animals through adoption events and fundraisers.
Kowalski is working on coordinating a supply drive for the organization to show her support for their mission and benefit the community. To support her initiative, donations can be dropped off at Kitty Korner in North Tonawanda or City Hall.
