Fourteen U.S. citizens quarantined at Fort Drum after returning from Congo

Fourteen U.S. citizens were recently quarantined at Fort Drum after returning from a travel-restricted country.
According to Reuters, travelers flew back to Canada from the Democratic Republic of Congo, where there’s a dangerous Ebola outbreak.
They attempted to cross the U.S. border from Canada through Vermont, but were stopped by officials. The people were then transported to Fort Drum and quarantined in apartment-style housing for four days – closely monitored for Ebola by the CDC.
CDC officials determined the people were not infected with Ebola. They left Fort Drum on Monday.
A “do-not-board” order was issued this month and requires U.S. citizens in Congo to quarantine for at least 21 days before returning by plane.
