Four bodies of migrants recovered off the coast of Tajoura
The Libyan Red Crescent Society, Tripoli branch, announced on Saturday the recovery of four bodies of victims of illegal immigration from various locations along the Tajoura coast.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page, the Society said that under exceptional field conditions, its body recovery teams in the Tripoli branch continued search and recovery operations along the Tajoura coastline, recovering four bodies from different locations in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The ongoing humanitarian efforts are part of the response to maritime accidents and the recovery of victims of irregular immigration, and that the teams continue to perform their humanitarian and national duty despite the challenges and difficult circumstances, it added.
