Flow Foundation turns CPL sixes into $750,000 donation for three schools

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Flow Foundation will donate $750,000 in book vouchers to three schools following the successful conclusion of its “Every Six Is a Give Back” initiative during the Jamaica leg of the 2026 Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
The donation will benefit Aberdeen High School in St Elizabeth, Anchovy Primary School in St James and Grange Hill High School in Westmoreland.
Each institution will receive $250,000 in book vouchers to help parents and students purchase essential educational materials for the new school year.
As part of Flow’s sponsorship of the CPL, the foundation pledged $10,000 for every six struck during the four matches played at Sabina Park. Players cleared the boundary 71 times, generating $710,000. The Flow Foundation then rounded the contribution up to $750,000 to increase the initiative’s impact.
Rhys Campbell, executive director of the Flow Foundation, said the campaign showed how brand partnerships can be used creatively to deliver meaningful social impact.
“Every Six Is a Give Back allowed us to take the excitement and reach of CPL cricket and translate it into tangible support for students and families. Education remains a central pillar of the Flow Foundation’s mandate, and we are proud to use our platforms and partnerships in innovative ways to help young people access the resources they need to succeed,” said Campbell.
The initiative also connected the region’s passion for cricket with the foundation’s commitment to education and community development.
Throughout the four matches, each six represented runs on the scoreboard and increased support for families preparing for the start of the academic year.
Dr Nelissa Ashley-Brooks, vice-principal of Aberdeen High School, welcomed the contribution and said it would provide timely assistance to students and their families.
“This donation will make a meaningful difference for our students, particularly for families facing the financial pressures that come with preparing for a new school year,” said Ashley-Brooks.
“Access to books and other educational resources is essential to ensuring that students are equipped and ready to learn. We sincerely thank the Flow Foundation for including Aberdeen High School in this initiative and for using the excitement of cricket to create an educational opportunity for families,” she added.
The “Every Six Is a Give Back” initiative formed part of Flow’s wider CPL sponsorship platform, which celebrates cricket’s deep connection to Caribbean culture while creating memorable experiences and meaningful opportunities for the communities the company serves.
