Fastjet Zimbabwe extends A320 capacity for peak season

Fastjet Zimbabwe is extending its Airbus A320 operations following increased demand since the aircraft was introduced in August, with the aircraft continuing to operate through October and returning during the December festive period.

The A320 has been deployed on the Victoria Falls-Johannesburg and Harare-Johannesburg routes, providing additional capacity during key travel periods.

A320 supports high-demand routes

The Airbus A320 joined fastjet Zimbabwe’s fleet on 1 August as part of the airline’s Flying Programme for the peak travel months of August and September.

Following sustained demand, the aircraft will continue operating through the end of October before returning to service during December to provide additional capacity over the festive period.

Fastjet Zimbabwe Business CEO and country head, Donahue Cortes, said: “The Airbus A320 service continues to resonate deeply with our customers, and we are proud to see sustained growth in demand from both business and leisure travellers alike.

“Our new business premium product has been particularly well received, appealing not only to our corporate travellers but also to leisure customers who value the added benefits it brings, from generous luggage allowances and dedicated ground services to a thoughtfully elevated inflight experience.”

“This extension allows us to ensure sufficient capacity during the month of October and the peak December festive period. It reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering the standard of service our customers have come to expect from fastjet Zimbabwe,” concluded Cortes.
