Ex-NPFL star, Nana Kwame Abraham, joins Niger Republic club – Daily Trust

Former Barau Football Club midfielder Nana Kwame Abraham has completed a move to Niger Super Ligue side AS GNN (Association Sportive de la Garde Nationale) ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian is regarded as one of the region’s most promising young talents following an impressive 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign with Barau FC.

During the 2025/2026 NPFL season, Abraham featured in several matches for Barau FC, providing key assists as the club finished eighth in the league table and reached the quarter-finals of the President Federation Cup.
