Equatorial Guinea audit finds need for upgrades in national telecom network

The government of Equatorial Guinea is aiming to modernise and expand the national telecommunications network, following an audit conducted by ICT consultancy Cyberteq. The audit identified several weaknesses, including outdated equipment, low data transmission speeds, call interruptions caused by network congestion and gaps in infrastructure planning and configuration. To address these issues, Cyberteq proposes investment in new technologies, strengthening network capacity, and expanding coverage.
