Egypt’s Mohamed Gaber Automates Administrative Tasks Through AI Agents

Mohamed Gaber, an Egyptian now based in Germany, co-founded Velents AI and serves as its chief executive. He set up the technology company in 2021, and it designs agentic artificial intelligence solutions that fit the strategic needs of businesses and institutions.

The company pursues one main objective: it automates repetitive tasks and reduces manual work to streamline operational processes. The platform targets the trade, logistics, banking, real estate, healthcare and public administration sectors as a priority.

The technology that Velents AI has developed lets clients deploy versatile virtual assistants, which handle inbound and outbound call flows as well as text messages. These autonomous agents answer user queries, track files, execute complex transactions and, when needed, redirect special cases to human agents. The company built the platform for the international market, so it supports English along with every dialectal variant of Arabic.

Beyond customer service, the company is also transforming recruitment through its AI Recruiter tool. This solution analyzes applications in detail, automatically selects relevant profiles and handles the first stages of candidate qualification.

The company’s solutions extend further into document management and decision support. Its algorithms extract, structure and add value to data drawn from contracts, invoices or resumes. Velents AI finally offers meeting transcription and summary modules, and it guarantees smooth integration with the software its clients already run.

Gaber also advises on agentic AI at AZM Squad, an Egyptian technology company. In 2022, he additionally co-founded VeFund, a company that helps businesses expand into the Saudi market.

He graduated from Trinity College Dublin, where he earned a master’s degree in business management and administration in 2018.

He began his professional career in 2015 as a product lead consultant at MIMV, a publisher of digital solutions for the Arab world. In 2017, he joined meetingRoom.io, a company that specializes in developing mobile applications and virtual reality software, as product manager.

Two years later, Gaber joined the European mobility platform Free Now as senior data products manager, a key experience before he realized his ambitions in artificial intelligence.
