Egyptian Convict Sentenced in Absentia Arrested and Transferred to Qarnada

Aslanta – The Investigation and Information Gathering Office in Aslanta, part of the Shahat branch of the Illegal Immigration Control Agency, has arrested an Egyptian national who was sentenced in absentia to six years in prison and fined 2,600 dinars.

The arrest took place as part of ongoing security efforts to enforce warrants and judicial rulings issued by the relevant authorities.

After thorough surveillance and field investigations, officials located and detained the individual in accordance with legal procedures. Following verification of his identity and completion of required procedures, the convicted person was transferred to the Qaranda Correction and Rehabilitation Facility to serve his sentence.

The office emphasized its continued commitment to pursuing fugitives and implementing court decisions to strengthen security and uphold the rule of law.
