Egypt condemns deadly Café bombing in Damascus

Egypt has strongly condemned the bombing that targeted a café in the Syrian capital, Damascus, which left a number of people dead and injured.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its categorical rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability and terrorising innocent civilians.

The ministry expressed Egypt’s sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the government and people of Syria, as well as to the families of the victims. It also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured in the attack.
